Darren's right lung is looking better!!

It's not 100% yet...but we are heading in the right direction!!

WOO HOO!!

March 19, 2012 Learn that Great Wall China Adoption is still looking for a family for Darren
March 21, 2012 Apply for Income Waiver to CCCWA
March 21, 2012 Receive Darren's file - medicals AND pictures!
April 17, 2012 Received "Green Light" from CCCWA to proceed (Based on need for an income waiver)
May 3, 2012 Have a doctor review Darren's medical file
May 8, 2012 Submit Application to Great Wall China Adoption
May 9, 2012 Accepted into Great Wall's adoption program
May 17, 2012 Start sharing with friend's about our journey of faith to China - amazed by the support we receive!

June 2012 All EIGHT of us get updated Physicals
June 2012 Order new birth certificates for Erik & Sandy AND our marriage license - 'cause the originals we have are apparently not good enough
June 1, 2012 Accepted by Hands Across the Water Adoption Agency to do our home study
June 5, 2012 Sandy applies for passport
June 6, 2012 Receive Pre-Approval from CCCWA to adopt Darren (In response to our LOI)
June 6, 2012 Receive Expedite Letter from U of M pediatric cardiologist
June 6, 2012 Start International Home Study (requires 4 social worker visits!)
June 7, 2012 Madeline applies for passport
June 8, 2012 Erik renews passport (He isn't traveling, but it is needed for paperwork)
June 12, 2012 Receive another expedite letter - from doctor at Northwestern University
June 22, 2012 Proof rough draft of home study
June 25, 2012 Receive Sandy's passport
June 28, 2012 Receive Erik's passport
June 29, 2012 Receive Madeline's passport (Sandy and Madeline will be the ones traveling to China)
July 5, 2012 Pick up completed home study
July 5, 2012 MAIL I800A to USCIS!!!!
July 16, 2012 Receipt from USCIS...they have received our I800A
July 19, 2012 Receive our finger print appointment...we are scheduled for August 8, but have been told to walk in asap
